Peace and Love Organic Natural Family!
It’s Wednesday, January 27, 2016 and I am so excited for simply being alive!
Today I made videos about just about “everything” …fitness, health, cures,
spirituality, truth-telling, rants on racism, my Southern-culture-shock experience,
healthy and deserving relationships and living 20 + years on organic natural foods, oooh and I made an organic protein shake!
It was Leg Day yesterday and I pushed the envelope on my sets and reps. Squats especially 50/70/90/90 – 12/12/12/10 and working my way back up into the 100s.
Between barbell lunges, squats, leg presses, leg extensions, seated calf raises, weighted hyper extensions, weighted crunches. I left the gym in a real sweat and with spaghetti legs. Mission accomplished. Today I can hardly sit but my legs are getting defined and I’m satisfied. 🙂
Maybe it was the Leo Full Moon but I’ve been working on turning down my feisty fiery nature! I seem to be taken in on all the injustice and getting pissed at the insanity and ignorance. Perhaps that is just my signal to delve into Yoga! It’s 2016 lovely people let’s start acting like it.
So there ‘are’ times when the Cosmic Mother in me feels outrage, unfairness and injustice! And my need to express feels more like an old soul reminding, chastising and scolding a child more than anything. Okay so my rant (this time) was over Dr. Henry Louis Gates, Jr.’s comments on Race and DNA on his show, Finding Your Roots. Yeah. I wrote a whole blog article on it. You can read an excerpt then click on the link for more!
Question to Mr. Henry Louis Gates, Jr.
“WHY DON’T YOU KNOW
YOUR REAL HISTORY!??”
(after watching a few episodes of his show, Finding Your Roots,
with Bill Hader and Keenen Ivory Wayans, Mr. Gates, You Pissed Me Off!)

Race Rant #1: No black people are not all descendant of slaves Mr. Henry Louis Gates let us remember the Moors in Europe hence Queen Charlotte and De Medici of Rome, why this man exhausts me with his “I’m helping you reveal your DNA Ancestry! Oh you have African in your DNA –ohh that was some slave late night going on?” chuckling.

How about the dialogue with Keenan Ivory Wayans. “We found that on your Mother’s side your DNA shows no African DNA, but South East Asian DNA, yes, by way of the slaves of Madagascar! (?)

As you can see I got my first real Jade after some really mystical synchronistic events whirled me in the direction of “I Must Have some Jade In My Life!”
Coincidentally or not, I met a VERY handsome man who kinda looked like a Hollywood version of my Sun who insisted on knowing my name while I helped him return a pair of trousers. He had the biggest jade band on his finger and my eyes got lost on the myriad of tattoos which looked more like early Meso Tribal American with snakes and pyramids.
When he revealed he was from Thailand I almost choked on my bubble gum, his dark complexion and curly black hair seemed more ‘native’ but then again my point was proven “We are ALL “kinnected”! Then there was the black elder lady with an amazing Jade collection on her wrists. When she told me she got it as a gift in New York. I took a break and headed for the Fine Jewelry section, low and behold it was a sale day and boom. I remember asking the Fine Jewelry girl if she had a Nephrite or Jadeite piece and which was better to which she was unaware and could not answer. I cant wait to get a new piece to add to my growing collections! When I went to my Real Estate conference on Sunday I had to have Pearls on my body and grabbed earrings and a necklace I had purchased from Ross in Virginia a few years ago. Pearls seemed to bring a sense of ‘calm, serenity and self awareness’ to my Spirit. I’m looking forward to travels to ‘discover’ blue Olmec Jade and to keep learning about these beautiful plentiful bountiful diverse gems, their healing energy and cultural lore.
Healing Benefits of Jade and Pearls
I’ve been ‘craving’ both Jade and Pearls among other stones, gems and metals, like Gold, Emeralds, Rubies and Peacock Pearls aka Black Pearls. In my picture you will notice I have a new Jade bracelet that I just adore. Here are some healing benefits, mythical lore, and more about these amazing gems!
The “Dream Stone” aids in bringing your dreams to manifestation.
Jade is said to bless whatever it touches, serving mankind across the globe for nearly 6,000 years. For primitive peoples in the British Isles, its toughness, and ability to polish and sharpen made it a favored stone for axe heads, knives and weapons. Indigenous tribes of Mexico, Central and South America, and New Zealand carved it into deity masks and ritual artifacts, even cast it into wells as an offering to the water spirits for fresh and plentiful water. Jade has been the most highly esteemed stone in China throughout recorded history, and was valued for its beauty and powers of healing and protection. An endless variety of gems, vessels, incense burners, beads, burial items and statues have been wondrously carved from Jade, as well as musical instruments and pendants inscribed with poetry. [Simmons, 210][Eason, 266, 268]
Jade is a “dream stone,” releasing negative thoughts and irritability and soothing the mind. It stabilizes the personality, integrating mind with body, to stimulate ideas and make tasks less complex and easier to act upon. Placed on the forehead, it brings insightful dreams. [Hall, 152] Jade improves one’s remembering of dreams and releases suppressed emotions via the dream process. [Melody, 341]
Green Jade is a “growth crystal” – a powerful conduit of the earth’s Life Force of birth, development, and creation, and of the power of nature’s constant renewal. It is a potent aid in nurturing, whether of fledgling family relationships or a new business venture. Green Jade is perfect for keeping a venture on course, a project on schedule, and life on track. Lighter Green crystals promote spiritual growth and renewed commitment to a higher purpose. Those of a darker hue are talismans of physical growth and strength, and safety in travel.

Jade in all forms has always represented nobility, not only of rank, but of ideals. The wearing of Jade assists in creating magic for the highest good and in protection from harmful or deceitful entities during spirit work. [Eason, 268]

Green Jade is an abundance stone, representing the flow of Divine energy into the reality of one’s life. It brings harmony and happiness in business and family relationships, as well material abundance. It is a reminder to smell the flowers, touch the ones you love, and share your heart with others in affirmation of plenty. [Ahsian, 210]
Green Jade is a crystal of love. It is supportive of new love, and increases trustworthiness and fidelity. It also inspires love later in life. [Eason, 43]
As a professional support stone, Jade aids doctors, nurses, veterinarians, and all healers in making practical diagnosis and in their applications. It is a support stone for educators, and Jade, carved in the form of a faith symbol, is uplifting to military personnel. [Mella, 130-133]
Jade pendants and necklaces protect against deception and authoritative abuse for financial or sexual gain. Jade signifies peace through strength, and is also helpful in homes or occupations that encounter bullying or intimidation from violent children or teens. [Eason, 268]

Excerpt from Pearls International:
Modern science has not discovered anything magical about pearls, but this does nothing to diminish their stature in people’s eyes. Pearls are said to give the wearer a sense of calmness and centeredness, and to promote faith, loyalty, truth and purity. They can especially enhance personal integrity. They have also been used in a number of cultures to help women connect with their “inner goddesses” and obtain the ultimate “feminine energy.”

Pearls have been used throughout medical history to help treat disorders of the digestive tract, muscular systems and the skin. Powders and potions containing pearls have also been developed to aid in fertility, as well as in easing the discomforts of the birthing process. Many cultures and societies have made similar claims for this lustrous gem.
The Chinese, for example, have depended on the healing properties of the pearl for centuries. They have used it to treat everything from simple eye ailments to serious heart problems, bleeding, fever and indigestion. To this day, the Chinese still use pearl powder as a skin whitener and a cosmetic, as do many other people around the world. In fact, the pearl is widely considered to be effective in controlling the skin conditions rosacea and acne.
Black Pearls also known as Peacock Pearls
Due to these natural properties, as well as its elegance and beauty, the pearl has been associated through the ages with the “matrix of life” itself. Proponents allege that the pearl helps to balance the human body’s natural rhythms and hormone levels with lunar cycles. There are also those that claim that the pearl can bring inner wisdom and help to strengthen and nurture the growth of love. Pearls are thought by others to have very strong “magnetic” powers and have been used in “gem therapy” to strengthen nerves, the adrenal glands, the spleen and muscle tissue.
